Looking at ourselves…

Wednesday nights game against Kopano was something like a great potjie that was’nt quite lekker. Maybe it was a main ingredient that was missing, or some impatient fool stirring the pot too many times. Anyway herein lies my point, what I’m trying to say is it never really happened. Plain and simple.

Trying to analyse a game of rugby is’nt easy. Chat to anyone and they’ll give you a different opinion about Wednesdays game, somehow you always hear the same tones whatever they may be. Opinions differ as with everything in life, but what we need to do is start playing for each other, stop blaming someone else, look at yourself before passing the blame. Do your job, keep it simple and the rest will happen.

Perhaps its expectations that are letting us down, lets not expect anything. Be it from our quality tight five to our skinny fullback’s who run so well, we can’t expect the game to just happen. We have to work harder in every aspect and not to expect things to happen. Because gentleman you have to be ready for every scenario and when it comes dont say ” oh well I never expected that ”.

Lets play the Nadoe way—-to win playing the most attractive rugby we can while having the most fun doing it, dont stress fella’s its going to happen and when it does you’ll see the twinkle in your team mates eye.

Lets move on : I just have to say well done to Jedi ” the nadoe master ” on a great game and a well deserved Man of the Match award- not bad for an old fella. To our try scorer’s Renzo and Shaun, stop it pass the ball- jokes boys keep it up and last but never least with The Donkey, well done on getting the Big Lick from Paki.

To those of you not lucky enough to be here to watch Wednesdays game, don’t worry, it’s not really that bad. I just dont feel like writing about a brilliant passage of play only to let you down at the end with another dropped pass so stay tuned….Uvumbo awaits
