Played Five Won Five!

Coming out against Kopano we were all we ready to play some running rugger. Although we had the majority of the possession we just couldn’t seem to get the go forward we needed. In a very scrappy game there are some positives however that we can take out of it, firstly we won, that’s 4 more points to our total and a position change on the log moving up to 3rd with two games in hand, secondly the forwards were again sublime in the tight phases winning tight head after tight head and demolishing the opposition on our ball. And finally we maintain our unbeaten run to the semis!

A big U Cha Cha to the pack! The backs however have struggled of late to get the ball to the wing and play the flowing running rugger we’ve come a custom too. There is lots of rugby left I might add, with four games in two weeks coming up. Please let management know if you are available for selection on Sunday the 8th and 15th August.

To quote a fellow Nadoe: ‘When we all click together we are going to be devastating!’ So true is this quote as we must all remember, we’ve been playing sub standard Nadoes rugby and yet we are third on the log with two games in hand and unbeaten! That’s got to stand for something.

We come together every Wednesday with the same goal, and that’s to win.. the way we do it is simple… just play! There is far too much talking on the field, I feel that people are getting to involved in the politics and not concentrating on their role in the game! There is one captain on the field but as of late there seem to be 15! Sometimes there even seem to some coaches on the field shouting at others! We are a side that has been formed and run amongst mates, we get smashed every Wednesday because Wednesday is a Nadoes Day,because all I want to do is get drunk here with you…. We get stuck in on the field cause we play for each other not against one another. What I want to see from all of us as we build and move forward to the semis is a squad of guys coming together, believing in each other, trusting each other and just relax and play…. Trust me we will bring the cup home!

Pease keep management informed at all times by calling Stu Mc, Jason or Myself. That means if you cant make practice let us know, if you cant play on wed or sun let us know! If you’ve got any new ideas about anything let us know… Paki sadi he was going to look into getting Nadoes Rain Jackets, there was talk about starting a Nadoes running Club, There is plenty of space on this site for advertisements. Any and all ideas are welcome.
